Wildlife & Hiking Guide in Yellowstone National Park (Summer 2026)

Skyline Safari Co. is based out of Skyline Guest Ranch in Cooke City, Montana. We are a small family owned ranch/business and are looking for people who are family/team oriented.

100% Room & Board are included.

Pay: $2,250 - $2,800 per month
​
Responsibilities:

Lead informative and engaging guided tours, highlighting local wildlife, habitats, and conservation initiatives.

Educate visitors on animal physiology, taxonomy, and the environment.

Guide hiking tours in Yellowstone (1-6 miles)

Use scopes and binoculars to glass an area for animal activity.

Ensure compliance with safety protocols related and environmental regulations set by the National Park Service.

When not doing scheduled trips, guides will be asked to help around the ranch on various tasks.

Work schedule is 6 days a week.
Requirements:

Demonstrated knowledge of animal anatomy, physiology, microbiology, and taxonomy.

Excellent driving skills including being comfortable driving on snowy roads.

A clean driving record.

Strong communication skills to effectively educate diverse audiences in a happy and engaging way.

Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining high energy levels and enthusiasm. This role is perfect for passionate individuals eager to help other explore Yellowstone National Park.

Knowledge and use of spotting scopes and binoculars.
