Tanner Haver is a professional wildlife cinematographer based in Cody, Wyoming. Specializing in long lens, drone, and remote camera cinematography, his work focuses on capturing authentic wildlife behavior and cinematic natural history footage throughout the American West.
Tanner is currently serving as a principal cinematographer on the first-ever feature-length blue-chip documentary focused exclusively on mountain lions in the United States. He also contributed cinematography to The American Southwest (2025), a natural history feature produced by Fin & Fur Films.
With a background in Biology and Geographic Information Systems from Montana State University, Tanner combines technical expertise, fieldcraft, and storytelling to create compelling wildlife films. His passion for sharing that knowledge has led him to partner with Skyline Safari to offer immersive wildlife cinematography adventures throughout the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem, providing aspiring filmmakers with personalized instruction in one of the world's premier wildlife destinations.

Tanner Haver is a professional wildlife cinematographer based in Cody, Wyoming, and the founder of Roaring Mountain Media, a production company dedicated to producing premium wildlife footage and natural history content for broadcast, digital, and independent productions. Specializing in long lens, drone, and remote camera cinematography, Tanner has spent years documenting wildlife throughout the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem and the American West, developing a reputation for capturing authentic animal behavior and cinematic storytelling.
His work is rooted in patience, fieldcraft, and a deep respect for wildlife and the landscapes they inhabit. Rather than simply documenting wildlife, Tanner focuses on creating visual stories that immerse viewers in the natural world through intentional composition, behavior-driven sequences, and compelling cinematography.
Tanner is currently serving as a principal cinematographer on the first-ever feature-length blue-chip documentary centered exclusively on mountain lions in the United States, a groundbreaking project that marks a historic milestone in American natural history filmmaking. Before launching Roaring Mountain Media, Tanner studied Biology and Geographic Information Systems at Montana State University.
